As the COVID 19 pandemic fits of rage coupled with its lockdown effect, POCACOV diaspora member and the queen of omueneta lady Ihuoma Fortune partnering with Eze okey okah support foundation group and in conjunction with the police campaign Against cultism and other vices (POCACOV ) on Sunday the 10/5/2020 embarked on COVID 19 sensitizations on the need for the people to adhere strictly to the various safety precautionary measures rolled out by the government, NCDC and world health organization (WHO) towards containing and curbing the spread of the disease in communities.
The areas covered by the team include Omueneta, Elele town of ikwerre local government Area of Rivers state where material relief outreach was conducted for a vulnerable groups of women to cushion the effect of the lockdown on them.
The queen of omueneta, Elele and POCACOV diaspora member lady Ihuoma fortune commended Eze okey okah support foundation group for his partnership which has seen phases of sensitizations and material relief outreach and appreciated the inspector general of police IGP Mohammed Abubakar ADAMU for POCACOV programs and activities.
Reacting, Eze okey okah the pocavoc stakeholder maintained that the program revolve around service to humanity and making the society better which is among the cardinal principle of POCACOV programs and activities.
The National Coordinator of the police campaign Against Cultism and other vices; (POCACOV) Csp Ebere Amaraizu was ably represented by the acting POCACOV coordinator Rivers state and the commander Anti-cult unit Elele DSP Yusuf Abdullahi Idi who maintained that POCACOV will continue to work with different stakeholders to ensure that the society is made better.
The exercise was conducted with strict observation of social distancing and other safety precautionary measures S directed by the government, NCDC, and world health organization (WHO).
